Services
Primary and Secondary School Interventions
As an experienced French tutor, I support local primary and secondary schools by teaching the language curriculum and/or leading small intervention sessions in order to support the French department thus contributing to the pupils' academic success. I can identify students’ individual needs and work with them in positive, constructive ways to achieve their full potential. I design my French lessons with an emphasis on confidence-boosting activities.
One-to-One French Lessons
I specialise in One-to-One tuition, and know how to get my learners to excel through focused attention, patience, a lot of practice, as well a supportive and motivational approach. I make learning enjoyable through a selection of engaging, tailored and varied activities.
French Exam Preparation
As a highly motivated and supportive French tutor, I have managed to help my students reach their full potential and achieve the grades they deserve. I have a wealth of experience and a solid knowledge of the exam requirements, especially in GCSE and A-Level preparation. I can help you boost your confidence ahead of your test. I also offer tuition for the DELF examinations which can be a requirements for those wishing to formalise their knowledge with the view to settle in France.
French Classes for Home Education
Lessons are also suitable for home-educated children who will be thoroughly introduced to the French language whilst keeping in line with the more formal academic requirements, should the children wish to sit a French exam.
I will work in parallel with the new curriculum guidelines to ensure that your child is confident if ever entering or resuming main stream education in the future. In addition, your child will benefit from a cultural input as well as a broaden exposure to the language.
Online French Tuition
I have successfully adapted existing resources and created new material to cater for online French tuition via Zoom. The response has been very enthusiastic and positive as learners enjoy practicing their new skill from the comfort of their home or from the convenience of their workplace. A trial can be arranged to ensure this is for you.
